Wanchain Delegation Tutorial

Wanchain is a distributed ledger that allows for cross-chain transactions and the interoperability of multiple chains. Although Wanchain facilitates transactions between blockchains, it is also a stand-alone blockchain that runs autonomously. The protocol acts as a distributed ledger that processes and maintains records of cross-chain transactions. Aiming to break down the barriers between public and private blockchain networks, Wanchain is enabling financial freedom, empowerment, and connectedness that humans have never experienced in history. Follow the steps below to stake your WAN.

Step 1 Download and install the Wanchain Wallet.

a). Navigate to this link to start your staking.

Choose the suitable version of the Wanchain Desktop Wallet for your operating system.

b). At the time you click on any button that suits your system, you will be navigated to this page.

If you agree to the terms, please scroll down to the very bottom of this page, and click on “OK” to start downloading.

c). Follow the prompts of the Wanchain Wallet installation to complete the process.

Step 2 Create or import a wallet

a). Open up the Wanchain Wallet you just installed, relax if you see this loading process, it will accomplish within seconds.

b). You can either create or import a wallet as you like, no matter which option you choose, click on “Next” after that.

c). You are now at the main page of the Wanchain Wallet, check the specific status of your account, and get prepared for the following steps.

Step 3 Stake

a). Before staking, make sure you have prepared enough tokens, Wanchain has a specific minimum required amount for 100 WAN. Your balance in your current account will be shown here.

b). Start staking.

Click on “Galaxy PoS” in red square 1 on the left side of the page.

Click on “Delegation” in red square 2 to proceed.

c). You will be transferred to this page. Click on “New Delegation” to start since you don’t have any delegation yet.

d). Check the status of the validator you are about to delegate.

Click the bar circled in red square 1 called “Name” and select “InfStones” among all the validators, we promise this is the best choice from all of those options.

The Address of the validator will be presented after red square 2.

The Quota of the validator will be presented after red square 3.

The Max Fee will be presented after red square 4. Please notice that it’s not the current fee.

The Delegation Fee will be filled automatically in red square 5, and you could see that we only charge 1%.

e). Scroll down to “My Account” and check the status of your account.

Click the bar named “Address” in red square 1 and choose your address of the wallet.

Type in the amount of tokens you want to stake in red square 2.

Click on “Next” in red square 3 to continue.

f). Confirm transaction.

Make sure the name of the validator’s account is “InfStones” like the area circled in red square 1 above.

Confirm all your personal information below and then click on “Send” in red square 2.

g). Waiting for the delegation to be settled.

Wait for a couple of seconds before the staking settles down. You will find out that your stake will be shown under red square 1.

The time you discover a new item shown in the “Delegation List” after red square 2, it means you have successfully staked for InfStones.

Step 4 Confirm

a). Get access to the delegation page.

Click on “Galaxy Pos” in red square 1 on the right side of the page.

Click on “Delegation” in red square 2 to proceed.

b). Check the related information.

All the information about your previous delegation will be shown here. The amount of your stake will be presented in red square 1.

Your reward will be presented in red square 2.

The average network reward will be shown in red square 3.

The pending withdrawal will be presented in red square 4.

c). Double-check your previous delegation.

Scroll down a little bit to confirm the status of your previous delegation. You will find out all you need in “Delegation History”.

When the status of your staking appears to be “Success” in red square 2, it means the staking has been delivered.

Notice: Users may exit their delegation at any time, but please note there is about 3 epochs unlocking period after which you can withdraw your WAN.
