What is IoTeX?

Starting as an open-source project in 2017, IoTeX has built a decentralized platform whose aim is to empower the open economics for machines — an open ecosystem where people and machines can interact with guaranteed trust, free will, and under properly designed economic incentives. IoTeX is the decentralized backbone for machine economics which serves machines ranging from smart home devices to autonomous vehicles. How to Stake IOTX with InfStones?

Follow the five simple steps below to experience the staking service on InfStones’ node and earn your own piece of rewards.

Step 1: Download and Install iWallet

Search “ioPay” on your phone, ioPay is an official wallet supporting delegation on IoTeX. You can acquire ioPay on both IOS, Android and APK. Navigate to this website to start and follow the prompts to install the ioPay.

Step 2: Create or Import an account for ioPay Wallet

Open up the ioPay you’ve just installed, create or import an account for the wallet as you wish. If you are familiar with the creation and import process, please skip to Step 2 directly.

To create a wallet, click on “Create Wallet” to start.

Type in a name you prefer and then click on “NEXT” at the upper right of this page.

Click the area circled by the red square to copy your private key.

Click the area circled by the red square and paste the private key you copied before here.

Click on “View New Wallet” to get access to your wallet.

To import a wallet, click on “Import wallet” to start.

Click on “PRIVATE KEY” to continue.

Type in your private key in the red square 1 and then click on “NEXT” to continue.

Click on “View InfStones” to get access to your wallet.

Check your wallet. Once you’ve got access to your wallet, your wallet address will be presented on the upper side of the page.

The balance in your wallet will be shown below.

Step 3: Stake your Tokens

Click on “STAKE” to start staking.

Click on “New Stake” to create a new stake for yourself. Scroll down to find InfStones’ node, click on “Infinity Stones” to continue.

Create Stake.

Type in the amount of tokens you want to stake. Type in the stake duration you prefer. Click on “Next” on the upper right of this page to continue. Click on “OK” to approve the transaction

Wait for a couple of seconds, the delegation will be approved soon. When you see “Broadcast Successfully”, it means the transaction has been accomplished.

Step 4: Confirm Transaction

To confirm your previous stakings, click here (at the very bottom of this page) to continue.

The status of your previous transactions will be presented here including stakings. If you’ve approved a successful staking, a tag “Success” will be shown below the Stake record.

Step 5: Restake your Tokens

Click on “STAKE” to deploy more operations.

The status of your lifetime stakings will be shown here. Click on the title of your previous staking to continue.

Click on “Edit” to continue.

Click on “Restake” to restake at any time you prefer.

Choose a duration you prefer to restake.

Choose a duration you prefer in red square 1. You can reset the stake duration as you prefer, the longer duration you’ve chosen, the more rewards you’ll get. Click on “NEXT” in red square 2 to continue. Then, click on “OK” to approve the restake.
