Consensus Hong Kong 2025, organized by CoinDesk, took place from February 18 to 20, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This inaugural Asian edition of the long-standing Consensus conference aimed to bridge Eastern and Western perspectives on blockchain, digital assets, and Web3 technologies. InfStones Updates: Staking Summit, Validator Opportunities, and 0G AI Research

We were thrilled to participate in Devcon 2024, the annual conference of the Ethereum community! The Ethereum Foundation has been hosting DevCon since 2014 to improve collaboration and innovation within the blockchain community. DevCon 2024 followed this tradition with a four-day event (November 12 to 15, 2024) at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. This year's event brought together over 12,000 attendees, doubling the number from the previous year, and also featured a diverse lineup of speakers, including Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and Aya Miyaguchi, the Ethereum Foundation's executive director.

  InfStones was proud to participate in the Staking Summit 2024, held on November 8-9 in Bangkok, Thailand. Rudy, our Director of Product, represented InfStones, engaged with the Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchain community, and returned with valuable insights. About the Staking Summit Staking Summit is an annual event organized by Staking Rewards for the Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchain ecosystem. Since its inception in 2022, it has become a platform for validators, protocols, institutions, and blockchain enthusiasts to connect and discuss the future of staking. Previous editions were held in Lisbon, Portugal, and Istanbul, Turkey, with this year’s event drawing over 1,000 attendees from around the globe. Highlights of 2024 This year’s summit featured 80+ distinguished speakers, including industry leaders like Vitalik Buterin, Sunny Aggarwal, Fisher Yu, Keone Hon, and Tarun Chitra. Discussions covered a wide range of critical topics, such as: Bitcoin Staking: Exploring staking opportunities in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Restaking: Unlocking new layers of utility and security in staking mechanisms. LSTfi (Liquid Staking Tokens Finance): Advancing liquid staking solutions and their impact on DeFi. Governance and Staking Challenges: Addressing scalability, decentralization, and security in PoS networks. InfStones at the Summit Throughout the event, we actively connected with the community, built new relationships, and strengthened relationships with our existing partners. We also attended side events to discuss blockchain infrastructure, validator performance, and protocol advancements. These conversations further strengthen our focus on improving the PoS ecosystem with reliable staking infrastructure. Looking Ahead Undoubtedly, the insights and connections gained at Staking Summit 2024 inspire us to contribute to the evolution of staking technologies. We’re excited to bring these ideas into our product innovations and collaborations as we move forward. InfStones Attends Staking Summit! 

On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, we co-sponsored the Validator & Node Operator Summit with bloXroute at DevCon in Bangkok. Our Director of Product, Rudy, represented InfStones and joined a panel to discuss "Scaling the Validator Ecosystem: Opportunities and Challenges." The panel discussed several issues, including recent developments, current challenges, and the role of validators in the Ethereum ecosystem. Preconfirmations A key topic of discussion was preconfirmations and their impact on transaction speeds. Rudy and the other panelists explored how preconfirmations benefit both validators and users in that validators are rewarded by delivering preconfirmation. In contrast, users get to experience a significant decrease in transaction latency—from 12 seconds to 0.1 seconds. This progress also makes Ethereum much more practical for high-frequency applications and use cases. Centralized vs. Decentralized Models The panel also revisited the ongoing debate between centralized and decentralized approaches. They acknowledged that while centralized models tend to dominate in the early stages of adoption due to their speed and efficiency, decentralized models hold greater long-term potential once they overcome their coordination challenges. Challenges and Future Innovations in Scaling Validator Networks Scaling challenges were also mentioned. The panel discussed how Ethereum's staking 32 ETH requirements, for example, can limit participation. This part of the conversation also extended beyond Ethereum and explored the progressing role of validators. Protocols like EigenLayer and oracles now depend on validators for tasks beyond transaction validation, such as price reporting and executing decentralized workloads, which further emphasizes validators' role as the backbone of various decentralized systems, not just blockchain networks. Looking forward, the panel explored how newer technologies like preconfirmations, sidecars, and re-staking could reshape validator infrastructure. While third-party providers like MEV-Boost and bloXroute often drive these innovations, there was an emphasis on validators effectively integrating these technologies to ensure optimal integration for their users.  Final Thoughts The session provided valuable insights into the opportunities and challenges that validators face today. For InfStones, it was also an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to supporting the validator ecosystem with scalable and future-proof infrastructure. As validators take on more critical roles in decentralized systems, we look forward to continuing our work in building solutions that meet both current and future demands.

Exciting Recap: InfStones at Consensus 2024, Node Sales, and Aethir Insights!

On June 26, 2024, InfStones had the pleasure of joining SafeStake for an engaging AMA session featuring Adam Kinley, Enterprise Solutions Architect at InfStones. The discussion covered the rewards and challenges of being a professional node operator (PNO), distributed validator technology (DVT), and upcoming Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs). On June 19, 2024, we hosted an AMA session with the Aethir Foundation via Twitter Space, attracting over 38.2K listeners to discuss our collaboration and share insights with the community.  The event began with introductions from Ann (Business Development Specialist) and Rudy (Director of Product) from our team and Tanya (Media Strategist) and Kartik (Business Development Lead) from the Aethir team. Discussion Highlights Afterward, we discussed the specifics of our collaboration, highlighting how InfStones ensures high performance and reliability for Aethir node holders. These include setup, management, and maintenance to ensure nodes operate smoothly and efficiently for the required four-year period. We stressed the challenges of maintaining node uptime and how our expertise, developed over six years, makes us uniquely qualified to handle these tasks. Key points discussed: Comprehensive Node Services: We provide setup, management, and maintenance to ensure nodes run smoothly for four years. Challenges of Node Uptime: Maintaining uptime is crucial, and our six years of experience qualify us to handle this. Advanced Features: Our platform includes 24/7 monitoring, disaster recovery, AI-driven auto-maintenance, and batch node management Beyond our services, we also explored important industry topics such as  the role of community engagement in the growth and development of blockchain projects and other future trends. Early Bird Promotion and Current Pricing We continued by announcing our Early Bird promotion for Aethir node holders. Although this promotion has ended, our pricing remains very affordable, starting at only $7.50 per month per node. Our competitive pricing, combined with priority support, encourages node holders to leverage our services for enhanced performance. Aethir Vision for the Future The Aethir team shared their vision for the future, outlining the next steps in their expansion and the support they require from infrastructure service providers like us. They highlighted their goal to revolutionize DePIN and build a decentralized computing power network and our role in leveraging this power to provide reliable infrastructure services. We also teased some exciting developments, such as extending our collaboration to utilize Aethir’s computing power for blockchain infrastructure services and a 20% renewal coupon available to users. Collaboration Details We further clarified our collaboration details, the unique aspects of our node-running services, and our competitive advantages. We discussed our long-standing experience since 2018, the trust we’ve earned from industry leaders like Binance and Circle, and our high uptime assurance essential for maximizing rewards on the Aethir network.  In one notable discussion point, we detailed our comprehensive solutions for Aethir checker node holders. These include setup, management, and maintenance to ensure nodes operate smoothly and efficiently for the required four-year period. We stressed the challenges of maintaining node uptime and how our expertise, developed over six years, makes us uniquely qualified to handle these tasks. Conclusion The AMA session was a resounding success, strengthening the bond between InfStones, Aethir, and our communities. CoinDesk has organized Consensus annually since 2015, and the event has become an integral part of the blockchain community, attracting thousands of attendees each year. Crypto Staking Reimagined: EigenLayer's New Approach & More

InfStones' recent response to a potential vulnerability demonstrates our steadfast commitment to robust blockchain security. The issue, identified back in July 2023, involved the open-source library Tailon and affected a small percentage of live nodes. Swift action was taken to remove Tailon, close vulnerable ports, and reinforce security protocols. We’re proud to announce that we’re collaborating with Obol Labs to research and test distributed validator technology (DVT). Obol Labs is a research and software development team that is building Proof-of-Stake infrastructure technologies for Ethereum. It is currently focused on developing the Obol Network, an ecosystem for trust-minimized staking that enables people to create, test, run, and coordinate distributed validators. Obol is funded by reputable investors such as Pantera Capital, Archetype, Nascent, Placeholder, and BlockTower.

Ethereum’s Shanghai upgrade officially went live on April 12th. InfStones’ staking service fully supports ETH staking and withdrawals. Staking ETH on our platform is 100% secure, and institutional investors can batch launch up to 1,000 validators at a time. InfStones’ ETH staking service also allows investors to stake less than 32 ETH at a time. This makes it significantly more accessible for retail investors as compared to many other services that require a minimum of 32 ETH. InfStones is the longest-running staking service provider in the global market and has been operating ETH validators for more than 800 consecutive days with zero slashing. You can begin staking ETH on the InfStones platform with one simple click.

In an announcement, blockchain infrastructure provider InfStones said that it's expecting a heightened market demand for ETH staking as the Shanghai upgrade comes.
