All users can create their Neo API on the InfStones platform for free and access Neo N3 on-chain data in a much faster and more convenient way, or use this service to develop and deploy applications on the Neo N3 network.

Neo is the third public chain that InfStones has launched the public API services for after Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain. InfStones was successfully elected as the initial member of the Neo Council in July this year, providing professional data services, API services, node services, and staking services to the Neo ecosystem to ensure the smooth launch of the Neo N3 mainnet and help with the Neo N3 ecosystem development.

In addition to public API services, the InfStones platform also supports users to build dedicated APIs with one click on each blockchain including Neo. The public API service uses a shared node cluster, which is fast to create and low in cost, but there are restrictions on the request amount and rate. Different from the public API, each dedicated API created by the user monopolizes the node machine, there is no limit on the requested amount, and the node machine configuration can be customized according to performance needs. At present, InfStones has supported nearly 50 blockchain dedicated API services including Ethereum, BSC, Neo, Solana, Polygon, Cosmos, etc.

Neo Public API Tutorial

Step 1

Go to InfStones official website https://infstones.com/, click “Log In” in the upper right corner to log in (for those who are not registered, please click “Sign Up” to register first)

Step 2

Go to the homepage and click “Create One Now” to create your first API

Step 3

Select Neo blockchain, select Public API type, and enter the project name, and click “Create”

Step 4

In the APIs - Public APIs page, you can see the overview of all the public APIs you have established, including the number of visits on the day and the number of historical visits on each chain. Click on the Neo column to enter to view the Neo public API you have created.

Step 5

Swipe to “Endpoint” to view the Neo API Endpoint you just created, and use it to access the Neo N3 network.

Step 6

Each user can create at most 3 Neo public APIs for free, and users can bind a payment card to increase the maximum number of APIs. After binding the card, the user can also click “Change Service” to increase the request limit and rate limit.

Step 7

The method of binding a card is: click on the username in the upper right corner — click on “Billing” — click on “Account” — click on “Add Payment method”

Step 8

Enter the card information and click “Add” to add it.

Neo Dedicated API (Node) Tutorial

Step 1

Users need to bind a payment card to use the Dedicated API service. For users who havenot bound a credit card, please refer to step f) bind a credit card in the Neo Public API Tutorial.

Step 2

On the APIs - Dedicated APIs page, click “Create One Now”.

Step 3

Select Neo blockchain, select Dedicated API type, enter the project name, and finally click “Create”. The platform will ask you to launch a Neo node to create a Neo Dedicated API, click “Launch Node” to continue.

Step 4

On the page of launching node, select the region where the node is located according to your needs (currently US East/US West supported), select the configuration size of the node machine, confirm the price in the lower-left corner, and finally click “Launch” to launch thenode.

Step 5

In the APIs - Dedicated APIs page, you can see the overview of all the dedicated APIs you have established, including the number of visits on the day and the number of historical visits on each chain. Since it takes some time to establish a node (usually within 1 hour), please wait patiently until the “Status” column changes to “Synced”, and then click to view the Neo-specific API you have created.

Step 6

Swipe to “Endpoint” to view the Neo API Endpoint corresponding to the node you created,and use it to access the Neo N3 network.
