What is MEV?

MEV (maximum extractable value) is the maximum reward you can earn from the production of a single block. That reward is generated by re-ordering the transactions within a block as it is formed.

MEV strengthens the blockchain network by providing a smooth liquidation process for DeFi projects such as lending protocols, ensuring their effectiveness. Additionally, by encouraging validators to compete for MEV with a larger stake scale, MEV indirectly increases blockchain security. MEV generally reinforces blockchain networks while allowing network participants to earn additional rewards.

You don't need to do anything on your InfStones dashboard to start using this benefit— it will automatically apply when you launch an Ethereum validator node.

Supported Blockchains

InfStone’s MEV feature is currently only available for the Ethereum blockchain. However, support for MEV on other blockchain protocols (including BNB Chain, Cosmos, Polygon, and others) is in the works. We’ll keep you updated as developments progresses.
