Optimum Selects InfStones as OptimumP2P's Private Testnet Partner
We’re thrilled to announce that InfStones is joining OptimumP2P’s Private Testnet as an official partner. Optimum, the first high-performance memory layer designed to scale any blockchain, has unveiled OptimumP2P— a next-generation data propagation network. InfStones joins six other leading Ethereum validators and node operators to test and deploy OptimumP2P, with the initial focus on improving block propagation for Ethereum, and plans for broader expansion to additional Layer 1 networks.
What is OptimumP2P?
OptimumP2P is a high-performance data propagation protocol that dramatically reduces latency and optimizes the delivery of transactions, blocks, and data blobs. This enhanced efficiency boosts network speed and scalability, while maximizing validator rewards—capturing every opportunity with minimal bandwidth and CPU usage.
OptimumP2P operates like a memory bus for blockchains, enabling faster and more efficient network data movement. At its core is Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC) — a groundbreaking data encoding method invented at MIT.
