InfStones, a leading blockchain infrastructure provider offering scalable PaaS, announced the release of its highly secure Ethereum validator service, designed to arrive just in time to serve the growing needs that will arise as a result of Ethereum’s long-awaited Shanghai upgrade which is currently expected to take place in April 2023.

In an announcement, blockchain infrastructure provider InfStones said that it's expecting a heightened market demand for ETH staking as the Shanghai upgrade comes. InfStones, which aims to help clients build applications across a number of blockchain platforms, closed a $66 million round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and GGV Capital, the company announced on Wednesday.  Other investors in the raise include INCE Capital, 10T Fund, SNZ Holding and A&T Capital. This funding round follows shortly after its $33 million Series B three months ago and brings its total funding to $111 million. InfStones didn’t disclose an exact valuation, but said it was “near unicorn-status.”

Blockchain infrastructure provider InfStones, which aims to serve as a flexible Amazon Web Services–like platform for Web 3 development, has closed a $33 million Series B funding round from a group of investors that included Susquehanna International Group (SIG) and Dragonfly Capital. No valuation was provided, with the round bringing the company’s total funding up to $45 million.
